We have been enjoying having my brother in town, playing nintendo, our new Wii, eating our fave pizza, and just having some fun times.
We are planning out our ten year trip. I think we are settle on Chicago. We can drive there quickly enough, yet go to a city we haven't visited yet. Does anyone have any cool places to visit or eat? I want to find some cool shops. I can't wait to relax and do nothing. Thanks to my mother-in-law for watching the kiddos for several days. Ugh, I can't wait!
And this town is simply amazing! You have to watch the video. I love how each artist has their individual styles and character. You have to watch this!

I have finished the floor boards on my room boxes. I have to start putting together some themed rooms. I want to go with a certain time period, one that I'm familiar with. I can't wait to start collecting ideas and pieces.
Well, I hope all is well in bloggy world! Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteYou're a miniaturist. And you're going to Chicago. You will, of course, be visiting two of the miniature Holy Grails: The Thorne Rooms at The Art Institute of Chicago and Colleen Moore's Fairy Castle at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, won't you.
ReplyDeleteIf you're interested in modern architecture I highly recommend the tours by The Chicago Architecture Foundation and a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio in Oak Park...
